PATH (People Acting To Help), Inc. is a comprehensive Community Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Center supports to meet the specific needs of our community, right in the heart of Northeast Philadelphia.
Founded in 1973 by a group of dedicated community members who set out to provide critical services at a time when they were otherwise scarce or nonexistent, we serve 4,200 children, adolescents, and adults each year through a comprehensive array of evidence-based clinical programs.
With our mission of “Helping Individuals Achieve a More Independent and Fulfilling Life,” PATH regularly achieves the highest levels of accreditation, including a 5-Star Provider Rating by CBH, Philadelphia’s Managed Care Entity, and recognition and awards related to our high-quality, innovative programs and staff accomplishments and contributions.
PATH is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, including PATH service recipients and family members of service recipients as well as former PATH Executive staff members, all of whom are especially vested in the quality of PATH services.
