Supervisor of ID Support Services

Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Job Summary

To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by managing an effective team. Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Improvement (QI) activities including data collection, analysis, and reporting within the Intellectual Disabilities Department.  Identify and conduct compliance, fiscal and staff documentation audits. Develop Standard Operation Procedures. Troubleshoot electronic timekeeping and healthcare issues in consultation with PATH Fiscal and MIS departments. Manage day to day secretarial support to the ID CLA Department.

Specific Duties

  1. Assure the collection and organization of all ID service documentation necessary to meet the requirements of the Provider Monitoring Process.
  2. Assist in the development of the PATH Quality Improvement Plan for ID in consultation with PATH S&E department and the ID Director.
  3. Be familiar with program licensing standards and assist in preparation for site reviews.
  4. Prepare monthly reporting medication errors, and restraints utilizing the EIM system.
  5. Assist in development, implementation, and analysis of satisfaction surveys.
  6. Assist in facilitation of the ID Consumer Advisory Committee including development of agenda items.
  7. Be familiar with continuous quality improvement literature and information with specific attention to intellectual disabilities services.
  8. Serve on the agency Safety Committee, providing input for quality improvement activities.
  9. Supervise and function as back-up for the Quality Improvement Specialist.
  10. Oversee the completion and distribution of monthly representative payee/bank balance reports. Monitor client bank balances and bring any issues surrounding spend down to ID Director and CLA Director.
  11. Oversee interactions with Social Security Administration including monitoring Social Security Correspondence and actions required for follow up. Notify relevant parties.
  12. Oversee the opening and closing of monthly representative payee/Bank Balance reports.
  13. Oversee the completion of SNAP, energy assistance, and rent rebate applications.
  14. Develop and maintain computer skills related to data entry and analysis, including the agency MIS system. Be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Access.
  15. Assist in development, revision, and maintenance of ID policies and standard operating procedures.
  16. Analyze Federal, State, and County regulations for QI/managed care issues to ensure compliance and identify issues needing agency attention.
  17. Assure the collection and organization of all necessary HUD documentation for individuals living in HUD subsidized CLA facilities and coordinate the completion of HUD paperwork in consultation with the Facilities Director.
  18. Support the implementation and completion of electronic time keeping within the ID department in coordination with PATH’s Fiscal and MIS departments by troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  19. Complete office and site purchases at the direction of the ID director.
  20. Act as agency point person for individual Waiver Redetermination. Keep ID Director/CLA Director apprised of any issues that may affect benefits.
  21. Effectively supervise the provision of ID support services and main reception functions.
  22. Plan, organize and direct work to ensure that adequate clerical support (typing, filing, department minutes, etc.) is provided to the CLA/HCU Program and the ID Director.
  23. Audit ID service documentation to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and PATH Documentation Policies and Procedures.
  24. Prepare and conduct departmental training on topics relevant to position.
  25. Prepare written reports as directed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, MS preferred.  Experience in continuous quality improvement.  Excellent computer skills required in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Access.  Supervisory experience preferred.

$52,125.00 Annually ($25.06 Per Hour)
