Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Job Summary

To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member.  Use cognitive therapy and incorporate trauma and attachment theories and recovery principles (in addition to other clinical interventions/services) in the provision of individual, group and family therapy for young adults in a residential treatment program. 

Specific Duties

  1. Provide individual, group and family therapy at least weekly for all residents
  2. Ensure that delivery of clinical treatment is congruent with approved treatment models
  3. Ensure residents and families receive education regarding mental health, intellectual disabilities, substance use or other issues that arise
  4. Be flexible in scheduling clinical treatment to meet resident and family needs
  5. Provide crisis intervention and management as indicated
  6. Maintain on-going communication and collaboration with family members, to include scheduling, follow up and documentation of each therapeutic leave
  7. Complete bio-psychosocial evaluations for potential admissions as assigned
  8. With the resident and treatment team, develop discharge plans and arrange resources defined in the discharge plan
  9. Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely, comprehensive and legible manner and is in accordance with PATH policies and procedures
  10. Complete all documentation required for continued stay and communicate authorizations to PATH’s QI department in a timely manner
  11. Participate in CBH phone reviews with program director or program manager as requested
  12. Complete monthly individual service plans in a timely manner
  13. Complete individual treatment plans every 90 days or sooner as clinical issues arise
  14. Participate in weekly treatment team meetings with the RTF Psychiatrist
  15. Consult and collaborate with all team members on a regular basis
  16. Be flexible in responding to program coverage needs
  17. Participate in and document summary of team meetings, case conferences, stakeholder meetings and other meetings as assigned
  18. Contribute to quality improvement/outcome measurement tracking and data gathering as assigned


Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in human services or related field.  Direct clinical experience working with youth.  LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or Licensed Psychologist preferred.  Use of own personal vehicle and valid driver’s license. 


Residential Treatment Program  


40 Hours per Week


$50,086.00 annually
