Job Summary

To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member of the Human Resources (HR) Department. Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, employee appreciation events, compensation, and benefits. In addition you will maintain personnel files by ensuring filing is completed daily, required input into ADP is done promptly and accurately.

Specific Duties

1. Candidate Screening: responsible for screening resumes to determine which candidates meet the minimum requirements. Move chosen candidates on to the next step in the recruitment process.
2. Interviewing: Responsible for conducting initial interviews; set up interview appointments between the chosen candidates and the hiring manager.
3. Reference and Background Checks: responsible for conducting reference checks by verifying employment information and contacting the professional and personal contacts provided by the candidate.
4. Builds applicant sources: Research and contact community services, colleges, employment agencies, industry association, recruiters, news groups, and internet sites
5. Analytics: Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team


1. Once candidates have been approved and selected for hire, responsible for offering positions.
2. Assist new hire with all required clearances (e.g. Child Abuse Clearance, FBI, Pre-employment drug screening, etc.).
3. Responsible for completion and mailing of new hire offer letter and welcome packet.
4. Must collect all required documents on first day of employment and review said documents for completion.
5. Ensure that new employees are enrolled in the ADP system and all appropriate documents are uploaded to ADP and verify completion of enrollment in Time and Attendance system (time position form) by 12 noon of initial orientation day.
6. Reconcile/validate data entry to ensure data integrity, and support routine reporting requests. This includes running monthly reports.


A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or Associate’s Degree Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, plus two to three years experience in the Human Resource field. At least one to three years experience with ADP Workforce Now. Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now. Excellent communication and people skills. Aptitude in problem-solving. Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to perform physical demands of position, such as bending/lifting/kneeling associated with filing. Ability to lift boxes 15 – 20 pounds.
